First Day of Pre K

On Tuesday August 21st I started Pre K, which I might also add was my 5th Birthday. I was so excited to start school, Mommy and Daddy on the other hand where not as excited. They drop me off at school and I start playing with al the new kids in my class. Mommy and Daddy talk to the teacher. Daddy comes over and says good-bye, and he will be back later. I played and had lots of fun. When Mommy and Daddy came back to get me, I cried. I didn't want to leave, I was having so much fun. I can't wait to go back again. I love school.

Land Between the Lakes

Yesterday for Father's Day we went to Land between the Lakes. It wasn't the best weather as it rained off and on, but we made the most of it. We went to this one area where you got to drive through and see Buffalo and Elk up close. It was really cool. The buffalo where so close to the truck that we could almost touch them. They didn't even seen to care that a bunch of cars and trucks where driving past them. Mommy got some pictures even though it was raining.

I hope we go again when the weather is nicer.

Teddy Bear Blanket

I got a box in the mail today from my Great Aunt Mary. It was the blanket that my Grandma Joyce started before I was born. Grandma didn't get a chance to finish it so Great Aunt Mary made sure it got finished. I love my Teddy Bear blanket.

Thank you Great Aunt Mary for finding someone to finish the blanket for me.

New Swimming Pool

This weekend we got a new pool, it is a lot bigger then the pool we had last summer. I had so much fun splashing and playing in the pool. It is going to be a nice cool summer in the pool.

Picking Flowers

After Daddy went to work Mommy and I went into the backyard so I could pick some wild flowers. I had fun picking all the flowers and smelling them. The flowers made me sneeze.

Blowing Bubbles

It was nice and windy the other day so I went outside to blow some bubbles. The wind did most of the work for me.

The Grand Finale

Let's hope this works, it is the grand finale, Mommy recorded it with her cell phone. I think she was zoomed in a little to far. But I think you will get the idea. Hope you like it as much as I did

Thunder over Louisville

Yesterday we went on a little road trip up to Thunder over Louisville. It is the kick off of the Kentucky Derby. They had an air show and fireworks. Mommy would have taken more pictures but when we got up there she realized her camera was just about dead, so she saved the pictures for the fireworks.

While we where waiting for the fireworks to start I had my very first funnel cake, it was so yummy, and a little messy.

Once the fireworks started I sat on Daddy's lap under a blanket. Mommy brought earplugs for me so it wouldn't be so loud.

It was a little cold that night, I am glad Mommy brought along my jacket and a blanket to keep me warm.

I can't wait til next year. Just hope it will be a little warmer.

Easter Egg Hunt

Daddy and I ran into town to run a few errands so Mommy could make Easter Dinner, and while we where gone the Easter Bunny came and hid some Easter eggs and my Easter basket. He left me a note on the front door letting me know how many eggs I had to find. He hid them in the living room and also in my bedroom. I was moving so fast finding them all that Mommy didn't get a chance to take many pictures. And if she did take a picture it turned out blurry as I move to fast. Maybe next year will be a better year for taking pictures.

I had a wonderful Easter, Mommy made a good dinner, and all the goodies in my Easter basket and Easter eggs,  I am one happy kid.
